Rapid Hardening Concrete is a special type of concrete that gains strength much faster than ordinary Portland cement concrete. It is manufactured by finely grinding the cement clinker and adding a higher proportion of tricalcium silicate (C₃S). This composition accelerates the hydration process, enabling the concrete to achieve high compressive strength within a short time, usually within 24 to 72 hours. Due to its rapid strength gain, it is widely used in road repairs, precast concrete works, and situations where early load application is required.
